Tightness is a fundamental advantage that a Deceuninck PVC window must offer. When it comes to tightness, we refer a barrier allowing us to protect our home and family from all natural elements. There are two concepts related to tightness: Airtightness / Watertightness
Deceuninck PVC windows are not joined by screws or brackets. They are thermally fused! Which gives us complete security that we will not have air entering or exiting from corners or water seeping into our home.

In accordance with opening type, window are classified into two groups: sliding and hinged.
In this regard, hinged windows as Everest Max system are considerably more efficient regarding tightness, as they have TPE gaskets on frames and sashes.
For this purpose, fittings also play a key role in terminating process by operating the handle.
Despite in Mexico, 70% of window manufacturing is represented by sliding windows, nevertheless these are not the best option when it comes to tightness, as they slide on rails and their seal is based on plush.

Legend Slide incorporates double contact locking system, providing security and air, water and noise tightness, due to inner mechanism that strongly secures sash to the frame, after lowering the handle, sash is secured in a small lateral movement, and finally, inner mechanism is responsible for adjusting the mobile door.
